UMN-MDT Vacancy 2024 for Finance Officer
United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust (UMN-MDT) is a public trust which aims to enable the poorest people living in poverty to transform their lives, leading towards fullness of life. As they serve the people of Nepal, multicultural teams of Nepali and volunteer expatriate staff work alongside local organisations, in eight districts of the country, building partnerships that lead to healthy, dignified and empowered individuals and transformed communities.
Position: Finance Officer (Woman only)
| Required No | 1 (Based in Thapathali) |
| Responsibility | The main responsibility of the job is to provide admin and finance services to UMN MDT Thapathali office in financial management areas including project financial report. The post- holder will report directly to the Finance Team Leader and will be part of the UMN MDT Finance Team. |
Qualifications and Experience:
| Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies (BBS) or Commerce (B.COM). |
| At least 2 years of work experience in I/NGO or 4 years relevant work experience in NGO. |
| Accounting and book-keeping knowledge. |
| Sound Financial Management skill. |
| Inventory and Stock management. |
| Knowledge of Accounting software, preferably MoneyWorks. |
| Good facilitation, interpersonal, writing, presentation, and computer skills. |
| Excellent language and communication skills in both Nepali and English. |
