KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICAL SCIENCES Vacancy Announcement for Associate Professor and Lecturer: Kathmandu University, School of Medical Sciences, Dhulikhel is looking for the following faculty position on a contract basis. Candidates who meet the requirements mentioned below can submit applications to the communication section of Dhulikhel Hospital by January 1, 2023.

1. Position: Associate Professor

Qualification/ Department: MD in Dermatology

Requirement:

• Should have a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in the respective subject together with the experience of three years as an Assistant Professor, and
• Should have a minimum of three research/original articles published in indexed national /international scientific journals as the first author at the level of Assistant Professor.

Or

• Should have a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification recognized by Kathmandu University and holding the position of a consultant in a recognized hospital/3 with an experience of 7 years (including 3 years teaching experience in the same subject) after postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification and
• Must have three research/original articles published in national/international Indexed journals, as the First author.

Or

• Holding faculty position as an Associate Professor in other universities/institutions.

2. Position: Lecturer

Qualification / Department:

• Orthopedics
• Prosthodontics
• Surgery (Neurosurgery)

Requirement: Should have a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in the respective subject together with registration in Nepal Medical Council.
